Breed (comics)
Breed is the title of three limited series of comic books, The first two are six issues in length, the third contained seven, written and drawn by Jim Starlin and published by Malibu Comics under its Bravura imprint, the third by Image Comics.
==Publication history==
The original six-issue limited series was published from January to June 1994, and Breed II'' ran from November 1994 to April 1995.〔(Bringing Back "Breed" with Jim Starlin )〕 The subtitle ''Book of Revelation'' appeared only on the interior indica of the second series.
Breed III'' was planned and started in 1995 but Starlin couldn't get a publisher interested in it after Malibu Comics went under.〔〔(Newsarama's Jim Starlin Interview 1 ), Newsarama, July 15, 2006〕 In May 2011, the first issue of ''Breed III'' was released through Image Comics.〔〔()〕
